How do I get the serious talk with Mike as Bree MC
Did you update to version 23.5.0b? This issue should be fixed in this version.
If it is on Steam yes.

Hello, I'm still having issues with Bree MC and Mike. After going to the theater I can't seem to trigger the stay at home event or have a serious talk.
I can see why you're having a hard time with this one.
We'll review this event conditions to make it a little easier ;) .

Can someone that’s played the update from Bree’s point of view please let me know what we’re supposed to do to trigger the event where we meet Samantha in the pub when we get Mike’s love to 15? I’ve gone to the pub and stayed there every hour that it’s opened day after day with nothing happening and I’m at a loss now.
It's bugged currently, will be fixed later today.
I really was driving myself insane trying to figure it out. 😭
